A flexible system that allows multiple network video cameras to be installed in the class room. Each camera is small and unobtrusive and soon forgotten by the children. A central monitoring and recording computer, located remotely allows viewing and recording from any camera.

We use digital network cameras from Axis Communications for this application. Axis Communications has been making quite a habit of delivering the latest advances in network surveillance technology. Their cameras offer easy installation and are ideal for this application.

An Axis network camera can be described as a camera and computer combined in one intelligent unit. It captures and sends live video directly over an IP network such as a LAN, intranet or the Internet and enables users to view and/or manage the camera using a standard Web browser or application software on any local or remote computer on a network. It allows authorised viewers from different locations to simultaneously access images from the same network camera(s).

* - depending on the number of cameras required and the number and type of computers on your school network it may be advisable to create a separate network segment for these cameras. We will be pleased to check out your network and advise on any upgrades needed to use Teasel.

We will tailor a system to meet your specific requirements. Minimum cost for a single camera system will be around £2000.

Each additional camera expected to add approximately £600 upwards.
