Located in Ashington, West Sussex Forest Eyes Photography offer a diverse range of photographic images, available as framed Fine Art prints. They also offer a beautiful range of greetings cards and notecards and other professional services.
They are very particular about the quality of their products, and were looking for a website that could show them off properly. We designed a CMS web site for them with Lightbox style picture galleries and automatic watermarking for image security. They are now able to create and alter the pages on their site themselves as well as creating and displaying their pictures in the Lightbox galleries. Each picture uploaded can have a custom watermark added automatically or not when it is displayed to visitors to the site.

The Web Site was commissioned by the
Yorkshire Dales Society on behalf of the Yorkshire Dales Heritage
Forum. This forum aims to promote communication between those with an
interest in the heritage of the Yorkshire Dales area and to increase
awareness of a wide range of heritage projects. Acces to the directory
is currently at two levels. The general public can organisations and
obtain links to their web site. Members of the directory have access to
a wider range of detailed information relating to each listed
organaisation.
The Yorkshire Dales Heritage Directory Web Site
The web site has been designed with
future expansion in mind. Additional types of information can be
added to entries in the directory and each new item may be shown in
the public view or restricted to logged on visitors as required. In
its present form the site provides a universally accessible source of
contact details for those with an interest in the heritage of the
Yorkshire Dales area. To further promote communication and to
increase awareness of a wide range of heritage activities two additional features are under consideration:
- An on-line Forum to discuss and share ideas across a range of
interest groups.
- A document rrepository for the
management and dissemination of common experiences relating to grant
submissions and sources of funding.
